SHFC backs DHSUD in 2025 Budget Senate Hearing

SHFC President and CEO Federico Laxa, along with other heads of Key Shelter Agencies, joined DHSUD Secretary Jose Rizalino Acuzar during the department’s 2025 Senate budget hearing, sponsored by Senate Deputy Minority Leader Senator Risa Hontiveros.

On Monday, the Senate approved the department’s P6.35 billion budget for the 2025 National Expenditure Program.

SHFC senior officers who attended the hearing included Executive Vice President Atty. Junefe Payot, Finance and Comptrollership Group Vice President Dante Anabe, Corporate Planning and Communications Group Vice President Florencio Carandang Jr., Resettlements Management Group Vice President Philip Robert Flores, Mega Manila Group Vice President Engr. Elsa Juliana Calimlim, and 4PH Central Luzon Head Prandy Vergara.
